2013-14 UAlbany Basketball Individual Tickets Go on Sale Oct. 1
ALBANY, N.Y.- University at Albany athletics announced Friday that individual tickets for men’s and women’s basketball home games at SEFCU Arena will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Fans can purchase tickets through the athletics website beginning at midnight on Tuesday.
Both men’s and women’s basketball teams open the 2013-14 season at the Times Union Center against Siena. Ticket information for that doubleheader will be released at a later date. The women will tip-off at 5 p.m., with the men to follow.
The UAlbany men’s basketball team opens its home season against NJIT on Nov. 12 at 7:00 p.m. The women welcome Western Michigan at 2:00 p.m., on Nov. 10.
Men’s basketball head coach Will Brown returns three starters from his 2013 America East Championship squad. The Great Danes advanced to the NCAA tournament second round, falling 73-61 to No. 2 seed Duke in Philadelphia.
Katie Abrahamson-Henderson welcomes six freshmen to her 2013-14 team. The two-time defending America East champions fell to No. 3 seed North Carolina in last year’s NCAA tournament first round 59-54.
UAlbany will also host the 2014 Men’s & Women’s America East Basketball Tournaments for the second-consecutive year, March 7-9.
