TOWSON, Md. – UAlbany men’s lacrosse commit Connor Fields has been named an Under Armour All-American, solidifying him as one of the top high school players in the country.

This is his second-straight Under Armour All-America yearly award.  Along with the honor, Fields will suit up for the North Team in the annual Under Armour All-America Boys Classic on Saturday, July 12th at 5 p.m.  The game will be televised live on ESPNU.

Fields let up the scoreboard for Bishop Timon-St. Jude last year, setting a new New York state record for goals scored with 129 as a junior, surpassing the old record by 21.  So far this season, he has netted 93 goals and 31 assists in 15 games, averaging over eight points per game.

Currently, Bishop Timon-St. Jude, in Buffalo, is 11-5 and ranked #2 in the state of New York by MaxPreps.

Fields is committed to the University at Albany and will suit up for the Great Danes next season.
