America East Releases Women’s Basketball Conference Schedule
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – UAlbany went 16-0 in the America East last season and will look to repeat the feat. The America East Conference has released the league schedule today, featuring 16 games.
The team will play the league slate from January 9th through March 1st before hosting the conference tournament. The 2014 America East quarterfinals will be on Friday, March 8th at the SEFCU Arena, with the semifinals being on Sunday, March 10th. The America East women’s championship game is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 16th.
The Great Danes will play their first three conference games on the road, playing Vermont on January 9th. They will follow up with with matchups at Hartford on January 12th and UMass Lowell on January 16th.
The first home game will be on January 18th as UAlbany hosts Maine at the SEFCU Arena. The final two home games feature rivalry contests; the Great Danes host Binghamton on February 19th and will have Senior Day on March 1st against Stony Brook.
