James Badas, LaxMagazine.com:
“Albany picked up in the fall 2013 much in the fashion they had left off in the spring, with the Thompson’s anchoring a high-scoring squad that took wins over both Quinnipiac and ’13 NCAA tournament squad Yale at the Christian Prince Memorial Tournament in New Haven on Sunday.”
John Alfonso Iadevaia, Inside Lacrosse:
Excerpt from Iadevaia: “Head coach Scott Marr believes his team found its identity on Sunday: a fast-moving, hard-playing bunch of guys that stick up for one another. In both contests, Albany pushed the pace on offense and generated plenty of transition chances. Players also came to aid Lyle Thompson when he was getting roughed up around the crease.”
