The Zoom External Modem 3095
is a fast and compact modem that allows users to complete their tasks at high
connection and speed. The modem contains a built in USB cable saving you from
the hassle of batteries and adapters. I saw a significant improvement in web
browsing. I no longer had to wait minutes for a page to load. Likewise, the
Zoom modem was especially beneficial for faxing, as it allows your computer to
do the faxing, while taking phone calls online. The hold and call
waiting features were great! In addition, installation was a synch after
installing the step by step software and was ready to go in minutes. The device
also includes a ZoomGuard for lightning protection and a two year warranty in
the event it breaks. The modem is designed for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux
desktops and notebook computers.

       The only drawback was the limited trial offer
for the Communicate software, but that’s typical of most other modems. Overall,
this is a handy gadget and fairly inexpensive for the capabilities the Zoom
3095 brings to your computer.
