UAlbany’s Thompson Trio Selected to Iroquois Nationals Training Roster

ONONDAGA NATION – Lyle Thompson, Miles Thompson and Ty Thompson were selected to the Iroquois Nationals training roster in preparation for the upcoming 2014 World Championships.

The three will all be with the training roster and will compete for a spot on the final roster, which will compete in Denver for the World Championships in July.  The final roster is expected to be solidified in June.

44 players make up the current Iroquois Nationals training roster, which includes Miles and Lyle’s brothers Jerome and Jeremy.

The three serve as the starters of UAlbany attack corps, with the whole trio earning All-America status last season.  They combined for 254 points last season.

If the three make the final roster, they will go to Denver.  UAlbany lacrosse contributors Riley Lasda (Latvia), Eli Lasda (Latvia) and Eric Wolf (Israel) are all set to be involved in the tournament in July.
