Bowles Named America East Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, MASS.- Sophomore midfielder Rachel Bowles earned America East Offensive Player of the Week honors for the third-straight time, the league announced on Monday.

Bowles scored four goals and tallied one assist in a 13-7 win at Dartmouth last Saturday. The sophomore led UAlbany to a win over the Big Green in a rematch of a 2011 NCAA First Round contest.

The midfielder has scored in eight of her last nine games dating back to last season, and has recorded at least three goals in every game this season for the Great Danes in their 4-0 start.
