Cassandra Edwards, Bose Aiyalogbe Earn Spellman Award
ALBANY, N.Y. – UAlbany women’s basketball players Cassandra Edwards and Bose Aiyalogbe have earned the prestigious Spellman Award for academic achievement.
According to its mission statement, the Spellman Awards, in their 28th year running, honor accomplishments of high-achieving African, Latino, Asian and Native American heritage undergraduates in areas of academic achievement, community service and leadership.
Edwards and Aiyalogbe each finished their freshman season with the UAlbany women’s basketball team.
Edwards and Aiyalogbe, as well as the other recipients of this honor, will be recognized at the 28th Annual Spellman Achievement Awards in the Campus Center Ballroom on Sunday, May 4th at 2 p.m.
