There are a few common myths to adding ecommerce to your website. I’ve heard that it’s expensive, complicated and above all just too time consuming. Well, thanks to Shopify there’s no excuse!

Recenly Shopify released their wordpress  plugin that allows anyone with a word press website to easily integrate their sophisticated and highly customizable shopping cart. To install the plugin, first open the administrative dashboard of your website (usually mydomain.com/wp-admin) login, and click “plug-ins.”

You can either download it directly from this url (https://wordpress.org/plugins/shopify-ecommerce-shopping-cart/) or search for it in wordpress’s directory. Once installed, you need to create a Shopify Merchant account to link to your plugin. Once configured, as you add your products using the easy to use shopify.com dashboard, they’re automatically updated to your website!
