Eric Wolf to Serve as Assistant Coach for Team Israel Lacrosse

TEL AVIV, Israel – University at Albany men’s lacrosse assistant coach Eric Wolf will serve in the same capacity for Team Israel for the 2014 World Championship.
Team Israel announced its 46-man travel roster for the upcoming World Championship. The team will later be cut down to 23 players for the tournament. Wolf, a former player for Team Israel, was announced as an assistant coach for head coach Bill Beroza.
“I am truly humbled to have the opportunity to be a part of the very first Israel Lacrosse team to be competing in the FIL World Championships,” said Wolf. “Israel Lacrosse has taken great strides to grow the game and I look forward to helping them in the cause. It means the world to me to be able to honor my parents and our family as a member of this coaching staff.”
Wolf is entering his third season as an assistant coach for UAlbany. As the team’s offensive coordinator, the Great Danes had the highest scoring offense in all of Division I last season at 15.94 goals per game, coaching three All-Americans.
The 2014 World Championship will be held in Colorado in July, with the first game being on the 11th.
