For all around performance: HTC EVO 4G LTE

Smartphones are one of the most highly used items that we buy.  They have become prominent features in our lifestyles and because of this, it is very important to do research beforehand to make sure you find one that is going to fit into your routine.  The HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint will provide you with a good place to start the search.

With its 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 screen, you’ll be impressed with the clarity and sharpness of the images, although it may make the phone too big for some peoples’ preferences.  The bottom of the screen has touch controlled android buttons for back, home, and recent apps.  The body of the phone is black plastic with a silver metal strip running along the edges of the phone.  There is also a stylish red strip on the back of the phone where the kickstand is located for hands free viewing of movies on your phone.  Unfortunately the back of the phone is not removable, meaning there is no way to replace the battery.  It sports good battery life however with its 2000 mAh battery getting you through the day with ease.

On the inside, the EVO is running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  It has a 1.5 GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.  Storage also will not be an issue with its 16GB internal storage in addition to a micro SD card slot allowing you to expand up to an additional 32GB.  This is great if you have a lot of music or movies that you want access to on your phone.  Speaking of music, the EVO has enhanced audio through Beats by Dre which gives a slight improvement to sound quality on the phone.  The camera on the EVO also lives up to expectations.  Its 8 megapixel rear camera takes great photos in a variety of conditions and its burst feature ensures that you are able to capture the photo at the right moment while the front 1.3 megapixel camera serves its purpose taking self portraits and video chatting.

Overall, the EVO provides a great all around package for users.  It provides an excellent value for people who don’t need the processing power of the quad core phones that are starting to appear on the market.
