Scott Marr to be Inducted into the Adirondack Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame

TROY, N.Y. – UAlbany men’s lacrosse coach Scott Marr will be honored with an induction into the Adirondack Chapter of the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

The ceremony will be on Wednesday, June 25th at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy, with the Dinner and Award Ceremony starting at 7:30 p.m.

Marr has been the coach of UAlbany for the past 14 seasons, including 14 of the 15 seasons that the program has been in Division I, earning a reputation as one of the top college coaches in the sport.  His teams have been some of the top offensive squads in the game and have routinely been ranked, including finishing in the top ten in the polls in 2007 and 2014.

Marr’s teams have combined to win 120 games over 14 years, including earning six America East titles, six NCAA Tournament berths and two appearances into the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Marr is part of an induction class along with women’s lacrosse official Mara Wager and former Herkimer and Butler standout Joe Gloeckner.
