UAlbany Men’s Lacrosse Returns to the Top-15 in the Polls

ALBANY, N.Y. – Coming off its America East Tournament championship, UAlbany has returned to the top-15 in the polls, placing #14 in the Warrior DI Media Poll and #15 in the USILA Coaches Poll.
The polls were released on Monday, a day after the NCAA Tournament bracket was released.
UAlbany is on a seven-game winning streak and defeated Stony Brook and UMBC last week to earn the America East title. After earning back a ranking last week, the Great Danes are back in the top-15 since the week on March 24-30.
UAlbany’s first round opponent, Loyola, is ranked #1 in each the Media and Coaches Polls. The two face-off on Saturday at noon in Baltimore.
Of the 25 teams that received votes in the USILA Coaches Poll, UAlbany has victories over Harvard, ranked #11, UMass, Siena and Penn State.
