UAlbany to Play Johns Hopkins on ESPNU on April 4th

BRISTOL, Conn. – The Great Danes will take on Johns Hopkins on national television on April 4th at 7 p.m., playing on ESPNU, announced on Friday.
ESPN released its television lacrosse schedule on Friday, including UAlbany’s game against Johns Hopkins. In addition, the America East championship, which UAlbany will be defending in 2014, will be broadcast as ESPNU as well on May 3rd at 10 a.m.
The Great Danes, ranked #10 in Lacrosse Magazine and #12 in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Rankings, head to Baltimore for a 7 p.m. game against Johns Hopkins, ranked #13 and #14 in the respective polls. Last season, UAlbany defeated then-#10 Johns Hopkins on the road 10-9, helping bolster the Great Danes from #20 to #12 in the rankings.
Outside of the conference championship, this will be the only ESPNU lacrosse game featuring an America East team.
