Recently i traded in my old AT&T Tilt formally known as the HTC Kaiser for a brand-new BlackBerry Curve. The curve would be my first non windows mobile phone in over 5 years. The change was hard, it was long, but it was very worth the struggle. The Black Berry O/S much like Palm is very well thought out. Unlike Windows Mobile, everything seemed to be where it should be. From the address book, on any given contact i was given options to “drive to there or from”, “look up in 411”. Unfortunately for the Curve i was not a big fan of it’s looks.
That is when help comes in.
A revolutionary internet based company, ‘Unique Skins’ offers it’s customers a way to fully customize their phone. The company offers many designs for thousands of consumer devices. Almost everything from a PDA to your desktop is ‘skinnable’. We were able to get our hands around one of these skins.
After designing my skin and my order was placed, a week later i had a small white box from “Unique Skins.com“. At last! my Curve would not bore me anymore. Fixing the sticker-like skin to the phone was a bit tedious, all keyholes are pre cut but it is up to you to punch them out. Punching out each individual key for my phones full QWERTY keyboard was not fun.
After wards, i was left with one much better looking phone, pictures follow:
