Women’s Basketball Releases 2013-14 Non-Conference Schedule
ALBANY, N.Y. – UAlbany women’s basketball head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson has announced the non-conference schedule for the Great Danes this season. Before America East play, the team will play six home games, a season opener against rival Siena and three contests with 2013 NCAA Tournament squads.
The two-time defending America East champion Great Danes will open at home against Siena in the Times Union Center on Friday, November 8th at 5 p.m. Following, the squad will play four straight games at home, including 2013 NCAA Tournament competitor Marist on Thursday, November 14th.
The team will play a pair of teams back-to-back that made the NCAA Tournament last season, hosting Quinnipiac on Sunday, December 15th then taking on Duke on Thursday, December 19th in Durham, North Carolina.
The America East Conference slate will be released later this fall.
