Women’s Golf Slips To Siena In Dual Match
ALBANY, N.Y. – Hosting cross-town rival Siena College Sunday afternoon at Albany Country Club, the University at Albany women’s golf team shot a combined 347, falling to the Saints (339) by eight strokes.
Facing blustery and cool conditions, Sam Schuffeneker and Lisa Agoglia paced the Great Danes, both shooting an 86 on the par 72, 6,152-yard course. Paige Fujihara (87) and Rosy Hearns (88) also contributed to UAlbany’s score in the dual match.
For Siena, Kylie Strijek and Katie Nelson shared the top score, both finishing 12 over par (84).
The Great Danes continue their fall season slate, competing at the ECAC Championship in Harbor Township, N.J., Sept. 29-30th.
